What is the “activation code”?

An activation code is a time-sensitive, one-time code generated as part of offline activation. Offline activation is available for computers that are not connected to the internet — for example, air-gapped systems or computers on restricted networks.

If your computer has no internet connection, SoftRAID will detect this automatically and display an activation window showing:

• Your Computer ID
• Your Activation Code
• A QR code for quick access

To complete activation, you have two options:

Option 1 — QR Code: Scan the QR code with your iPhone or other mobile device. This will take you directly to the license activation page where you can complete the process.

Option 2 — Manual: Using any web-capable device, visit the license activation link shown in the dialog box and enter your activation code manually.

Once submitted, the server will provide a response code to enter back into SoftRAID to complete activation.
