Troubleshooting SoftRAID Launch Issues

If SoftRAID isn’t launching, try these steps:

1. Check SoftRAID in Login Items

Go to System Settings > General > Open at Login

If SoftRAID is listed:

Select SoftRAID and remove it using the “-” button.

Close System Settings

Re-open System Settings > General > Open at Login, and using the “+” button add the SoftRAID application back to the list

Close and restart.

If SoftRAID is not listed add SoftRAID using the steps above and restart.

2. Manually Add SoftRAID Monitor to Startup Items

If SoftRAID still doesn’t launch:

Open System Settings > General > Login Items.

Unlock the pane if needed.

Navigate to:

/Library/Application Support/SoftRAID

Find SoftRAID Monitor and drag it into the Open at Login panel.

Restart your Mac and check if SoftRAID launches.

If SoftRAID still doesn’t launch, please contact OWC support.
