Yes, you can use SoftRAID to certify SD, SDHC, SDXC, and CFexpress cards before using them in your digital camera. Certification ensures the card is working reliably and that all sectors can read and write without errors. Regular certification of your memory cards greatly reduces the chance of losing photographs due to media failure.

For professional photographers, we recommend certifying each card every 30-60 days to maintain optimal reliability.

Important: Certification will erase all data on the card. Back up your photos before certifying.
