We accept any official documentation that shows your current status: student ID card, current class schedule, faculty/staff ID, link to your staff webpage, enrollment verification letter, or tuition payment receipt. We're flexible, just something that clearly shows you're currently enrolled or employed at an educational institution.

Most verifications are processed within 24-48 hours during business days. You'll receive an email with your unique discount code once approved. If we need additional information, we'll reach out to you directly.

Academic discounts apply only to new purchases of OWC software. They do not apply to software upgrades (e.g., MacDrive 11 to MacDrive 12) or subscription renewals (e.g., SoftRAID Premium annual renewal).

Not all schools provide .edu email addresses. If you don't have a school email, you can use a personal email address and provide alternate proof of enrollment or employment, such as your student/faculty ID, class schedule, or link to your staff webpage.
