Your existing serial number is for your current version and will continue to work as-is. When you purchase the upgrade, you'll receive a new MacDrive 12 serial number to activate the new version. Your previous license remains valid for the version it was issued for.
No. MacDrive 12 installs cleanly over your previous version. You don't need to manually uninstall first. The installer handles the transition automatically.
MacDrive 12 is a one-time purchase with a perpetual license. You pay $29.99 once and own it. Future major version upgrades (if and when they're released) would be optional paid upgrades.
