Do I need to use Innergize to format my OWC Atlas cards?

When you use Innergize to sanitize your Atlas cards, it performs more than a standard format. Innergize communicates directly with the card to optimize its storage structure, enhancing performance and extending the card’s lifespan.

If you prefer to format your Atlas cards manually—such as with Disk Utility on macOS or Disk Management on Windows – we recommend using MBR partitioning for the best compatibility across camera models.
